AIM OF THE PROJECT

To find and experiment teaching paths that allow students, from nursery onwards, to think about their identity in order to strengthen their capacity to make conscious  choices, to take into consideration the continually widening territorial, social and cultural environment and to understand the value of completing an education or training programme. 

THE IMPORTANCE OF EARLY CAREER GUIDANCE

Early career guidance is an efficient method to develop abilities, strengths (including self-awareness) and weaknesses from early childhood. By using innovative teaching methods, we aimed to develop basic life-skills and competences within both primary schools and lower secondary schools, with the purpose to improve students/pupils self-esteem and basic skills, including becoming a thinker, risk taker, inquirer and a group member.

Students/pupils discovered the value of education in order to understand their own individual ambitions and aspirations, leading to what they would like to do in the near future and to the importance of the lifelong learning process. They also learned the vast importance of involvement and continuation of a substantial, well-rounded education process, which in turn deters against early school leaving.
